Data Deletion

This page explains how to delete your PostTrack account and the advertising data we retrieved on your behalf, including data obtained through Facebook Login and the Meta Marketing API. The page is accessible without authorization.

Three ways to remove your data

1. Disconnect the integration in PostTrack

Open Integrations in PostTrack and disconnect the advertising account. The access token is revoked immediately and the advertising data retrieved from that account is deleted.

2. Remove PostTrack in Facebook

Go to Facebook → Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites → PostTrack → Remove.

Facebook notifies us automatically through the data deletion callback. We revoke the stored token, queue the deletion and return a confirmation code you can use to check the status. All data is deleted within 30 days.

3. Request full account deletion

Email support@posttrack.app with the subject "Data Deletion Request (PostTrack)". Include your name, the email address on the account and your sign-in method. Processing takes up to 30 days and you receive a confirmation once complete.

What gets deleted

• Your account and account data: name, email, settings, team role.
• Meta advertising data retrieved on your behalf: ad account, campaign, ad set and ad identifiers, names and statuses, and all performance metrics.
• Access tokens and integration bindings — removed immediately.
• Operational data you created: expenses, revenue records, tasks, creatives, comments.

Exceptions: data we are legally required to retain (for example, accounting records) and anonymised security logs. Backups are rotated out within 30 days.

Checking the status of a request

When deletion is triggered from Facebook, we return a confirmation code. You can check the status at https://posttrack.app/legal/data-deletion/status by entering that code. No sign-in required.
